Akustik Center Austria
Holzforschung Austria has set up a building acoustics laboratory at the Stetten location as part of the COIN funding channel. In this project, flexible wood construction test stands in a "modular system" are specially developed for measurements in the frequency range below 100 Hz. The aim of the project is to develop competence in order to be able to optimize the acoustic performance of lightweight construction in a time and cost-efficient way, including subjective perception in the extended frequency range. The infrastructure is used together with the Technologischen Gewerbemuseum (tgm) and the TU Vienna for research solutions and accredited tests.
