Depending on its origin, dust is composed of a mixture of organic and inorganic particles. These particles vary in size, shape and structure and can cause respiratory irritation and allergies in humans. For indoor air, dust has a great relevance to human health. Due to its complex composition, analysis of dusts is done by institutes with methodological specializations. The focus of this "Strategic Project" of the ACR is to develop and implement a common competence in the field of dust in indoor air (HFA, IBO, KOV, ZFE).
