The aim of the project was to develop a new mounting method to simplify the installation of windows and doors, which should be suitable for new buildings and renovation and should also ideally be partially integrated into the window system. The innovative solution is based on an (elastic) bonding of the window to the wall in order to meet the requirements in a single operation, namely fastening/fixing of the window, insulation of the interstice and assembling of the inner airtight and the outer rainproof layer. The essential USP was in a simplified mounting technology which helps to reduce assembly defects and strengthen the quality image.
