In „MassStab!L“ (solid wood panels for stable indoor air ) the effects of the in the future expected increased fluctuations of humidity and temperature on solid wood panels are examined with the project Partner Initiative Massivholzplatte. The risk of crack formation in the material, possible changes in the substance emission and the potential of the materials for stabilizing the indoor air quality through their buffering properties (humidity, VOC) are researched. Finally, a simulation model will be established to allow the use of the full potential of solid wood panels to mitigate the effects of the climate crisis and increase occupants' satisfaction.
