Schutz.aufs.Dach
In the course of the two-and-a-half year research project Schutz.aufs.Dach, HFA together with TGM and several industrial partners, was investigating the airborne and rain noise insulation of wooden roofs with roof top insulation. The insulation materials, the coverings and various construction details were varied. The aim of the project was on the one hand to investigate the correlation between airborne and rain sound insulation of the roofs and on the other hand to improve the roofs in this regard. At the end of the project, planners have been provided with the developed roofs and determined sound properties by a freely available component catalog.
