Decking e.g. for terraces and balconies is one of the most important and at the same time a very challenging application for wood in outdoor areas. The variety of requirements and options with lack of normative regulations at the same time overcharges many planners and builders already when defining the requirements. With this tool, the user gets an object-specific requirements profile with all the necessary accompanying information based on the planned use, the desired wood species and a few additional parameters. In this way, the free online tool makes a targeted contribution to imparting knowledge on the correct handling of wood in outdoor areas.
