The Holzoberflächentag takes place every two years in September in the Austrian capital Vienna. This industry get-together is a reorientation of the "Wiener Holzschutztage", which we have been organising regularly since 2010. In addition to focussing on wood preservation, a wide variety of aspects of wood surface properties will be covered.

In this one-day event, which has been taking place since 2017, experts impart application-orientated knowledge on wood surfaces in all areas of application, both indoors and outdoors, and discuss current topics with the participants.
Network
The event is aimed at technicians and decision-makers in the industry from Austria and abroad. At the industry meeting, we bring users together with manufacturers from the coatings, wood preservatives and raw materials industries to network in a relaxed atmosphere. In addition to the trade exhibition, participants can get to know the Viennese pub culture at a cosy get-together the evening before.
Industry & participants
The Holzoberflächentag is organised in odd-numbered years. The approximately 100 participants come from all areas of the industry: wood processing industry, chemical industry, carpenters, parquet industry, window and façade manufacturers, architects, equipment and system manufacturers, experts, construction industry, authorities.
