The Kreislaufforum Holz takes place annually in the Austrian capital Vienna and brings together different industries for the common goal of wood recycling, focusing on the highly topical issue of the circular transition. High-caliber experts provide a broad insight into current developments and the framework conditions and demonstrate helpful tools for the practical implementation of circular waste wood utilization.

Content & Topics

This one-day event, which has been taking place since 2025, covers legal and technical framework conditions, imparts application-oriented knowledge on the implementation of the circular economy in timber construction and other composite materials, and discusses current issues.

Participants & Network

The industry meeting is aimed at both national and international technicians and decision makers. The approximately 80 participants come from various industries and share the common goal of circular waste wood utilisation and circular planning. They use the event for detailed and exciting technical discussions and to expand their own networks.

Industries

The Kreislaufforum Holz brings together for the first time all industries involved in the resource transition in timber construction: the wood processing industry, timber construction, carpentry, joinery, window and façade manufacturers, fastener manufacturers, architects, demolition companies, experts, the construction industry and public authorities.
